POKER
In this 60 x 80 cm canvas, Alberto León presents Freddie Mercury in the center, painted in stencil with four inks, wearing his signature sunglasses and an intense expression. The work takes the form of a “Q” of hearts playing with the letter to reference Queen and the iconic figure of the singer.
On a granulated base reminiscent of an old wall, a subtly superimposed torn poster appears, adding texture and depth without detracting from Freddie’s prominence.
