In this piece, Alberto León juxtaposes innocence with harsh reality. A girl peers over the wall of an unfair world, where numbered orcas leap behind the wire, trapped in captivity. Faced with garbage and neglect, her gaze is a silent scream. It’s a moving visual denunciation: the desire for freedom isn’t exclusive to human beings, and awareness begins when a girl dares to look.
