DAY-OLD BREAD
In this scene, Alberto León tenderly portrays the disconnect between generations and technology. A grandfather and his grandson, with gestures learned from the past, offer crumbs to a drone as if it were still a pigeon. It’s a naive and poetic act, where custom persists even though the world has changed. The real pigeons, in the background, observe in silence. It is a dialogue between what was and what is to come, where innocence tries to reconcile with the future.
