FREEDOM

In this work, William Wallace is presented with a serene strength, full-bodied, looking towards an invisible horizon that seems beyond the earthly. The texture of the turquoise green wall, worn and full of collage layers, reflects the passage of time and the wounds left by the struggle for freedom. But it is in his torso where the piece literally opens: a gap that reveals the planet Earth, surrounded by other worlds, as if his spirit had crossed the physical barrier and was now in its own space, outside of all conflict.

This rupture symbolizes how the pursuit of freedom is not only an earthly act, but an inner journey that transcends time and space. Wallace not only fights for his land, but his essence expands, inhabiting a place where commitment and courage take him to a different, almost solitary plane, but full of meaning. An image that mixes history, introspection, and a touch of science fiction, without falling into grandiloquence, inviting us to think of freedom as a journey that transforms and transcends.
