GHOST

In this new version of Ghost reinterpreted by Alberto León, the mud scene takes center stage on the left side of the canvas: the intertwined hands, the sensual gesture, the connection between bodies and souls captured with organic textures, wet papers, and muted tones reminiscent of the mud itself. Everything is enveloped in an intimate and almost mystical atmosphere, as if the wall contained the living memory of that moment.

In the center, more subtle but present, appears the subway man, with his intense gaze and determined gesture, like a bridge between the invisible and the tangible. Behind him, a sign that says “No Smoking” makes an ironic nod to his famous phrase “just one puff,” a note of humor that lightens the drama of the whole.

On the right, the kiss between Sam and Molly merges in collage with words like “my love, darling” or simply “idem,” while fragments of old posters from SoHo and other corners of New York dot the scene. A work where the urban, the romantic, and the supernatural intertwine effortlessly, like fingers on that pottery wheel.
