HIDDEN
In Hidden, Alberto León uses suggestion to construct a scene full of eroticism and symbolism without explicitly showing anything. We see the open legs of a woman with red heels and a man between them, hinting at a sexual act. There are no complete bodies, only fragments, gestures, and symbols that invite the imagination. A thong floats in the air, held by a bird, while several swallows fly among red butterflies that seem to emerge from the intensity of the moment.
The work is neither vulgar nor literal: it is a celebration of passion, of hidden and shared desire, wrapped in an almost poetic atmosphere. León plays with what is not shown, with what is felt more than seen, and turns the intimate into something visually elegant, provocative, and subtle at the same time.
