In this work, Alberto León presents a riot policeman kneeling in a corner, holding a rose as an offering. The scene, designed for the public to interact with the flower in a romantic or affectionate way, underscores an unexpected gesture of humanity in a figure usually associated with conflict and repression, especially in the context of the procés altercations.

Far from the tension and violence with which these police forces are usually represented, here the officer appears vulnerable, almost poetic. León deactivates the symbol of power through a simple detail: a flower. Without exaggeration or cynicism, the work invites us to look beyond the uniform, without erasing what it represents, but opening space for a more complex and empathetic reading.
