Collaboration with Škoda – Be More Cat
Alberto León participated in the advertising campaign “Škoda, Be More Cat,” a creative action that revolved around feline curiosity as a metaphor for exploration and nonconformity, values with which the brand presented its new model: the Škoda Elroq.
The campaign, starring Mario Vaquerizo, sought to break with convention through fresh, original, and visually disruptive communication. To this end, Škoda invited Alberto León to artistically intervene in the campaign’s promotional images.
In his intervention, the artist proposed a provocative visual game: crossing out keywords, replacing them with others that invite reflection, and placing animals other than the cat within the scene, challenging the central concept and taking it to another level of interpretation.
The result was a work with the unmistakable signature of Alberto León: subtle criticism, visual irony, and an urban aesthetic that intelligently integrates into the advertising environment. The presentation took place in an emblematic setting, the Atocha station (Madrid), where the vinyl-covered surfaces captured the attention of thousands of passers-by.
A collaboration that demonstrates how art can dialogue with brands without losing its voice or essence.
