WANTED

The title Wanted is not only an aesthetic reference to the classic Wild West poster, but also a statement with a double meaning. Alberto León uses it ironically to evoke an idea of a man who seems to be becoming extinct: upright, charismatic, rebellious without showing off. The phrase Men needed reinforces that intention, pointing not to strength or superficial virility, but to a male figure with real presence, principles, and authenticity, like the one embodied by Paul Newman.

León does not idealize, but he does question: where are those men today? In a world saturated with empty images, Wanted becomes a symbolic search, a poster that does not call for capture, but to recover a certain truth, a certain moral elegance that time seems to have torn, just like the walls that inspire his technique.
